STANDING COMMITTEE ON INTERGOVERNMENTAL RESOLUTIONS - COUNCILLOR BRIAN SKAKUN, CHAIR
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVES the resolution attached as Appendix A to the report dated August 16, 2021 from the Standing Committee on Intergovernmental Resolutions titled “2021 UBCM Resolution regarding No Barrier Housing Options” to be submitted to the Union of BC Municipalities.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council AUTHORIZES Administration to expend up to $30,000 to enable completion of a geotechnical investigation and a site survey at 8008 Malaspina Avenue, the proposed site of an 83 space childcare centre funded by the Province of BC.

    That Council APPROVES a budget amendment to Project #3295 – “Parks Water Truck” to show a total project cost of $360,000 that includes the addition of $60,000, funded through the Northern Capital and Planning Reserve Fund.
