  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the agenda for the regular meeting of Council scheduled for January 10, 2022, be amended by adding a staff report at agenda item C.2 and two items of correspondence at agenda item E.6 and E.7, and that the agenda, BE ADOPTED AS AMENDED.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the attached minutes of the regular Council meeting held December 20, 2021, BE ADOPTED as read on this day and that such minutes as read set out all of the business before Council at that meeting and fully and properly record all of the resolutions and bylaws passed and adopted by Council at that meeting.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report dated December 31, 2021, from the City Manager, titled “Procurement Quarterly Report 2021 – Quarter Four (Oct - Dec)”.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report dated January 5, 2022 from the Director of Public Safety titled “Covid-19 Vaccination Booster Clinic – Civic Centre."

CITY MANAGER - WALTER BABICZ
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVES the 2022 - 2024 Strategic Plan as attached to the report dated January 4, 2022 from the City Manager, titled "Strategic Plan: 2022 - 2024".

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council CONSIDERS the following motion postponed from the December 20, 2021 regular Council meeting:

    Moved by Councillor Sampson, seconded by Councillor McConnachie, that Council DIRECTS Administration to create a framework for recognition and a report back to Council from organizations in receipt of financial support through the Council Contingency fund.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPOINTS pursuant to Section 58(1) of the Local Government Act, for the 2022 general local election:

    1. Maureen Connelly, Manager of Legislative Services/Corporate Officer as Chief Election Officer; and
    2. Joan Switzer, Supervisor of Information, Privacy and Records Management as Deputy Chief Election Officer.

    That Council APPROVES of the City of Prince George submitting a bid to host the 2025 Special Olympics BC, with a direct financial commitment of up to $35,000 and up to $60,000 of in-kind commitment, to be funded from the Major Events Reserve.

    That Council RESCINDS FIRST AND SECOND READINGS of “City of Prince George Zoning Bylaw No. 7850, 2007, Amendment Bylaw No. 9203, 2021”.

  • RECOMMENDATION #3:

    That Council GIVES FIRST READING AS AMENDED to “City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9202, 2021”.

  • RECOMMENDATION #4:

    That Council CONSIDERS “City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9202, 2021”, in conjunction with the current Financial Plan and confirm there are no issues.

  • RECOMMENDATION #5:

    That Council CONSIDERS “City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9202, 2021”, in conjunction with the current Regional District of Fraser Fort-George Solid Waste Management Plan and confirm there are no issues.

  • RECOMMENDATION #6:

  • RECOMMENDATION #9:

    That Council GIVES FIRST AND SECOND READING AS AMENDED to “City of Prince George Zoning Bylaw No. 7850, 2007, Amendment Bylaw No. 9203, 2021”.

  • RECOMMENDATION #10:

    That Council PERMITS that consideration of Final Reading of proposed Bylaw No. 9203, 2021 BE WITHHELD until the following requirements have been met to the satisfaction of Administration:

    1. Receipt of a Servicing Brief.

    That Council WAIVES the requirements for a Public Hearing for proposed “City of Prince George Zoning Bylaw No. 7850, 2007, Amendment Bylaw No. 9247, 2021”.

  • RECOMMENDATION #3:

    That Council EXPANDS the public mail out notice area to include the properties identified in Exhibit “A” to RZ100716.

  • RECOMMENDATION #4:

    That Council PERMITS that consideration of Final Reading of proposed Bylaw No. 9247, 2021 BE WITHHELD until the following requirements have been met to the satisfaction of Administration:
