    That the agenda for the regular meeting of Council scheduled for May 30, 2022, BE ADOPTED.

    That the attached minutes of the regular Council meeting held May 9, 2022, BE ADOPTED as read on this day and that such minutes as read set out all of the business before Council at that meeting and fully and properly record all of the resolutions and bylaws passed and adopted by Council at that meeting.

    That Council APPROVES the “Public Hearing Procedures and Guidelines Council Policy” as attached to the report dated May 16, 2022 from the Manager of Legislative Services titled “Proposed Amendments to Public Hearing Procedures and Guidelines Council Policy”.

DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC SAFETY - ADAM DAVEY
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVES that the City of Prince George submit an application to the Building Safer Communities Fund up to the amount of $1.8M to initiate the federal “Initiative to Take Action Against Gun and Gang Violence”; and AUTHORIZES the Director of Finance and Director of Public Safety to sign grant application documents and any contract documents should grant approval be received.
