  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the agenda for the inaugural meeting of Council scheduled for November 7, 2022, BE ADOPTED.

CORPORATE OFFICER/MANAGER OF LEGISLATIVE SERVICES - MAUREEN CONNELLY
  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report dated October 28, 2022 from Maureen Connelly, Corporate Officer/Manager of Legislative Services, titled "2022 General Local Election Council – Official Results".

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council AMENDS the 2022 Council Meeting Calendar to move the Regular Council Meeting scheduled for Monday, November 21, 2022 to Monday, November 28, 2022 and to add a Committee of the Whole meeting on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, as attached to the report dated October 28, 2022, from the Corporate Officer/Manager of Legislative Services, titled “Amendment to the 2022 Council Meeting Schedule and Draft 2023 Council Meeting Schedule”.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVES the 2023 Council Meeting Calendar, as attached to the report dated October 28, 2022 from the Corporate Officer/Manager of Legislative Services, titled "Amendment to the 2022 Council Meeting Schedule and Draft 2023 Council Meeting Schedule".

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVES the designation of Councillors as Acting Mayor from November 2022 to October 2026, as set out on the Acting Mayor Schedule: 2022 to 2026 attached to the report dated October 25, 2022, from the Corporate Officer/Manager of Legislative Services, titled “Appointment of Acting Mayors for the 2022 to 2026 Council Term.”

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPOINTS Mayor Yu to serve as a Municipal Director on the Regional District of Fraser- Fort George Board until the first meeting of Council is held after the 2026 General Local Election, and assigns a voting strength of five (5) votes to that Director position.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPOINTS three (3) members of Council to serve as Municipal Directors on the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George Board until the first meeting of Council is held after the 2026 General Local Election, and assigns a voting strength of five (5) votes to each of those three (3) Municipal Director positions.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPOINTS one (1) member of Council to serve as the Floating Primary Alternate Municipal Director on the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George Board until the first meeting of Council is held after the 2026 General Local Election.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPOINTS the remaining four (4) members of Council, in rotating alphabetical order, to each serve as a Secondary Alternate Municipal Director to each of the four (4) Municipal Directors on the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George Board until the inaugural meeting of Council is held after the 2026 General Local Election.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That there being no further business the Inaugural Meeting of Council, BE ADJOURNED.
