  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the agenda for the regular meeting of Council scheduled for February 27, 2023, BE ADOPTED.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the minutes of the Budget Council Meetings held January 30, 2023 and February 1, 2023, and the Regular Council Meeting held February 6, 2023, BE ADOPTED as read on this day and that such minutes as read set out all of the business before Council at those meetings and fully and properly record all of the resolutions passed by Council at those meetings.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council RECEIVES FOR INFORMATION the report dated February 16, 2023 from the Corporate Officer/Manager of Legislative Services titled “Campaign Financing Disclosure Statements for 2022 General Local Election - Failure to File.”

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council:

    1. DIRECTS Administration to submit a grant funding application for the Elksentre Arena Refrigeration, Heat Recovery & Dehumidification Upgrade project through the Green and Inclusive Community Buildings (GICB) program; and
    2. AUTHORIZES the City of Prince George Financial Officer and City Manager to sign grant application documents and any resulting contract documents should grant approval be received.

    That Council:

  • RECOMMENDATION #1:

    That Council GIVES FIRST AND SECOND READING of “City of Prince George Zoning Bylaw No. 7850, 2007, Amendment Bylaw No. 9373, 2023”.

  • RECOMMENDATION #2:

    That Council PERMITS that consideration of Final Reading of proposed Bylaw No. 9373 BE WITHHELD until the following requirements have been met to the satisfaction of administration:

    1. Registration of a Section 219 Covenant on the legal title of Lot 31, Block B, District Lot 8182, Cariboo District, Plan 9266 that restricts symmetrical facades on two-unit housing.

    In addition, any recommendations presented in the preceding items must be addressed to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning and Development.

    That the City of Prince George SUPPORTS the application to Northern Development Initiative Trust from the Northern Regional Construction Association for a grant of up to $20,000 to support marketing of the association.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That the City of Prince George SUPPORTS the application to Northern Development Initiative Trust from the Outdoor Ice Oval Society of Prince George for a grant up to $100,000 towards the purchase of a water truck and spray system.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    The City of Prince George SUPPORTS the Prince George Cycling Club’s application to the Northern Development Initiative Trust for a grant of up to $100,000 to upgrade existing trails to make them suitable for adaptive cyclists at Pidherny Recreation Site under the Recreation Infrastructure program.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That there being no further business the Regular Meeting of Council, BE ADJOURNED.
