    1. Vary Section 10.2.5 6. by decreasing the minimum interior side yard setback from 1.2 m to 0.45 m, as shown on Exhibit "A" to VP100548.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    Be it resolved that:

    1. Council supports the issuance of the license to increase the occupant load for the following reasons:

      This application is not expected to have negative impact on the community or produce any significant land use impacts on adjacent properties.

    2. Council's comments on the prescribed considerations are as set out in the August 23, 2019 staff report from Ian Wells, General Manager of Planning and Development for Liquor Licence Application No. LL100162.

    3. The methods used to gather the views of residents are as follows:

      The views of residents were collected in a Public Hearing held on September 9, 2019 in Council Chambers. The public notice for this hearing included 1) a sign was posted on the property ten (10) days prior to the hearing, 2) written notification to owners and tenants in occupation of all parcels within the area that was the subject of the application, and within a distance 30 metres from the land that was subject of this application ten (10) days prior to the hearing, and 3) advertisements were placed in two (2) consecutive issues of a newspaper, not less than three (3) and not more than ten (10) days before the hearing.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Council APPROVE the 2020 Council Meeting Calendar as attached to the report dated August 20, 2019 from the General Manager of Administrative Services titled "2020 Council Meeting Schedule".

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Council GRANT FIRST THREE READINGS to "City of Prince George Cemetery Bylaw No. 8046, 2008, Amendment Bylaw No. 9071, 2019".

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    That Council APPROVE the proposed Snow and Ice Control Council Policy as attached to the report dated August 28, 2019 from the General Manager of Engineering and Public Works.

    2. CONSIDER "City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9063, 2019", in conjunction with the current Financial Plan and confirm there are no issues.
    3. CONSIDER "City of Prince George Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 8383, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 9063, 2019", in conjunction with the current Regional District of Fraser Fort-George Solid Waste Management Plan and confirm there are no issues.

  • RECOMMENDATION:

    THAT Council instruct the Corporate Officer to advise Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada in writing that:

    1. TELUS has satisfactorily completed its consultation with the City of Prince George;
    2. The City of Prince George is satisfied with TELUS' public consultation process and does not require any further consultation with the public; and,
    3. The City of Prince George concurs with TELUS' proposal to construct a wireless communications facility provided it is constructed substantially in accordance with the plans submitted to the City of Prince George for a 60.0 metre self-support tower with 15 antennas and 4.0 metre lightning rod mounted at the top of the structure on the subject property (NW ¼ of District Lot District Lot 2432 Cariboo District, except plan PGP39486).
